Untitled[edit]

The views of 86.151.46.174 were put in the article itself, but I think they are not NPOV so I put them here for posterity: "Like most BBC rugby commentators/presenters, Ian 'Uncle Tom' Robertson seems to have forgotten the land of his birth and is one of the many who exibits an unprofessional bias towards the English rugby team. His past glories as a rugby commentator have now given way to cheap and derrogatory soundbites belittling the opposition that his beloved England play." --Maarten1963 (talk) 22:42, 26 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

What do you expect from a product of Edinburgh private schools? He's also an unashamed monarchist. Anyway, he's no Bill McLaren, that's for sure.--MacRusgail (talk) 15:27, 4 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Retirement[edit]

This article could put in how, on February 12 2018, he announced he was going to retire from rugby commentary. Vorbee (talk) 18:31, 12 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

  • Thanks for the reminder, I put a mention in the article. Cheers. --Maarten1963 (talk) 21:20, 22 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
