Hi all! I'm not directly to Ms Liu but I'm in contact with a few of their internal comms people about producing a biography suitable for inclusion on wiki as a favour. I've disclosed a COI and I wish to work with editors to ensure that anything which goes online is appropriate and relevant. I originally submitted this piece in December before another article about Ms Liu was published a few days ago and subsequently draftified - see the alternate version here: Draft:Ida_Liu_2.
I've resubmitted this article for review now the additional article has been moved into draftspace - but please note that I was not connected with the second version which now exists. I did make some edits when I noticed errors or opportunities for improvement (e.g. incorrect job title, broken Bloomberg citation, and a person box with photo which I'd already put together here) but I did not wish to make any other content changes owing to my connection with the subject matter. I also posted on the talk page at the same time to alert other editors that my version of her biography had been started and that this content was available to use if it was appropriate.
I do not know the photographer but I have contacted him requesting that he send an email to Wikimedia permissions with the relevant releases as my original message to them was not sufficient (it was supplied to me on the understanding that it had been released under a CC license). Hi there, Anonymous-owl-contributor, and congratulations on your first article which I have rated as C class. As it happens, WikiProject Women in Red is currently focusing on women in business and I have taken the liberty of including the template WIR-218 on this page.
