Is this really his name? Maybe "title" is not the best expression, but I thought expressions like these were honorifics or descriptors. All the Buwayhids have names like that, for example, and the pattern al-Mulk and ad-Din are of course also common. Adam Bishop 18:09, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
It's possible, but I don't know of a source and he's never referred to as anything else. In fact few sources refer to him as anything other than the "governor of Jerusalem". --Ian Pitchford 18:21, 27 August 2007 (UTC)[reply]
