Crusader era[edit]

Nothing is mentioned about Iksal in Pringle, Secular buildings, or Churches, either vol 1 or 4 (where Iksal would have been). Same for Ellenblum, Rural settlements. Huldra (talk) 23:02, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

1922 census[edit]

The pal.rem site has messed up on the 1922 data, it gives it as 261. It should be 621! Huldra (talk) 23:38, 25 September 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Archaeology[edit]

User:Davidbena, I'm not sure how useful the info, say that Permit # A-6637 was given for Archaeological excavations is. Isn't it better to say what the excavation (given here: Mokary, 2014, Iksal) actually brought forth?

I have added a lot of links to various hadashot-esi.org.il articles over the years...many of them I haven't "written out" yet, but are just there in the Biblio section. Feel free to expand! Huldra (talk) 23:15, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]

I think that both would be good to add. The reason for citing the "Survey Permit number" is so that if people, in the future, wish to check the information on that particular archaeological dig, they can do so by submitting the IAA details.Davidbena (talk) 23:30, 2 April 2019 (UTC)[reply]
