The article states: "In Salah comes from the term "good well"[3] although the water is known for its rather unpleasant, salty taste.[4]"

The meaning of 'Ain Saleh in Arabic is "salty well". Therefore it sounds very strange that the term should come from "good well". --Metron (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 10:12, 8 May 2010 (UTC).[reply]

I've seen "salty well" or "salty water" too.

I would query the record maximum temperature shown in the "Climate" section - 60^C or 140^F. Weatherbase gives a record of 59^C, which exceeds even the world record maximum of 58^ C at El-Azizia in the 13th September 1922 (which is now disputed).

I can well believe a high temperature record for In Salah of 55^C or even 56^C, but 60^C seems a bit of a stretch.
