Notability of the Indian Express Group[edit]

I contest the speedy deletion. This article is for a very prominent and respected business house with a large number of published dailies, journals and books. In any case, this article was started to branch off a lot of information irrelevant to The Indian Express and Ramnath Goenka since there is a lot of clutter on both pages. Request that it be allowed to stay. Nshuks7 (talk) 09:02, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Nshuks7 - I marked this article for speedy deletion is because there is no indication that it is notable, rather than it being notable or not. Indication can be given by third-party sources which establish the subject and give context to its inclusion. Please take a look at other articles' references sections and in-text citations. I'll start to add citations to this article. Meanwhile, I've removed the speedy deletion tag. If you create a new article, having sources and citations will help prevent your pages from being marked for deletion. FlyingToaster 09:05, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
"35 national newspapers 7 regional language dailies from 14 publication centers across India" is not notable? Nshuks7 (talk) 09:13, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the great edits. I am learning :) I would like to move the recent events you have posted to a new section "Timeline" Nshuks7 (talk) 09:21, 19 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]

There are so many things that can be written.[edit]

The battle that Ramnath Goenka fought against Indira Gandhi and emergency, and later against Rajiv Gandhi, it is an unforgettable part of the history of India as a republic. Many more. The battle against Dhirubhai Ambani. If some one has old issues of the time of emergency censorship which had blank spaces for articles which were censored. That's cool! Go ahead and add that, but to Ramnath Goenka's page : ) details are missing. I created this to encompass all Express publications and, of course, the Goenka family. Nshuks7 (talk) 09:51, 22 February 2009 (UTC)[reply]
