Date of birth[edit]

Per the subject's request and our policy at WP:DOB, only the year of birth is given. Fences&Windows 17:38, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@Fences and windows:, frankly I don't understand such request: here Mr. Michaelson's daughter is reported to be 15 (on 16 June 1995), she's said to be 30 on 18 December 2009 and The Huffington Post writes that her birthday is on 8 December here. She's a public figure and everyone knows those data. Is she going to move war also to the NY Times and the Huffington (I mean, the policy reads Wikipedia includes full names and dates of birth that have been widely published by reliable sources, or by sources linked to the subject such that it may reasonably be inferred that the subject does not object: when she was less notable than now she might not have been concerned about her DOB spread around I guess; nonetheless her DOB is readable on reliable sources and now is widely available anyway. What's the point to blank it here, since its inclusion wholly respects the abovementioned policy?)? -- SERGIO aka the Black Cat 10:45, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
The reason not to do something because someone asks you not to do it is "because you are not an asshole." It's pretty simple.-- Jorm (talk) 19:31, 1 March 2018 (UTC)[reply]
No, is not either simple nor granted, @Jorm:, because the lady pushes on us, not on the NYT or the Huffington Post who would likely reject her demands less or more kindly. There are more famous and successful performers than her that are not such demanding. -- SERGIO aka the Black Cat 18:00, 25 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]
her full date of birth may very well be known with reliable footnotes to back it up, BUT the full birthdate serves no specific ‘public interest’ test to include in WP. AND she has specifically requested it not be included here. Seems pretty simple to me that ‘year only’ is perfectly sufficient for our needs of a WP-biography. And since when we get the agenda by the biographed subjects? Next step what will be, to write only what authorized biographies print? -- SERGIO aka the Black Cat 08:08, 19 April 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Source the request please, if there even is one.2605:6000:1526:450B:3DF7:D235:1ADB:C310 (talk) 12:50, 5 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Slow the Rain[edit]

I've restored some text about Slow the Rain, which an IP editor removed from the article a few hours ago. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 23:28, 27 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Two Missing Songs[edit]

Michaelson performed the songs "Celebrate" (from the Alter Egos EP) and "The Lotto" (as a non-album single) with the band AJR. They aren't mentioned on here anywhere, but they are mentioned on AJR's page. Could someone fix this, please? — Preceding unsigned comment added by MikeKhajiit (talkcontribs) 14:16, 1 October 2020 (UTC)[reply]
