Planning a big update of this page[edit]

Hello! My Insect and Society course is planning to update this page soon. We have a good list of insect-inspired musicians and songs started, but we are going to spend our next class period creating a more complete list of songs inspired by each order of insects. I (the instructor) will update the page. How do you think the most logical way to do this is? To add sections with the common names of each order, and then list the songs or musicians related to each order? I'm not sure that I will get a chance to write out narrative text about each of these in the next few weeks, but I'd like at least start adding lists of songs linked to artists in each section. Does this sound like a reasonable start? --Cprather3 (talk) 14:28, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Gosh. I've only just published the page within the past few minutes. Well, I suggest you create a new article List of insect-inspired songs, link it to and from the current article, and provide a citation for each piece of music listed. I suggest you might provide columns in a table like this; you can add more columns for notes, date, etc as you think fit. Users can then click to sort the table by field. It makes sense that I hadn't seen this page before then! I thought I had checked for something like this before, and hadn't found anything so I was surprised to run across this page this morning. Your idea sounds great; we will work on this topic that way, and link back to this page. Cprather3 (talk) 17:54, 4 April 2016 (UTC)[reply]
