2020 Sexual Assault claims against John McMartin[edit]

It is necessary, for this article to remain truthful, for the explanation of the replacement of John McMartin as leader of the Church to include the fact he was charged with sexual assault against a 19yo female congregant. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 2406:3400:20E:46C0:B0BF:C0:F29A:B1B0 (talk) 01:13, 30 December 2020 (UTC)[reply]

Intensifire is a Youth and Young Adult conference which directs its attention on the next generation and equipping them with the power of God. Over the last five years Intensifire has gained huge momentum and God is using the conference to change lives.

This is an encyclopedia. If you can find reliable sources that state that God is equipping members of this church with His power, please add them and revert.

The aim of the Institute is to equip leaders for an effective life of service in the Kingdom of God.

See above.

I made other edits in an effort to limit redundancy ie. "The church said this, the church did that, the church has this many members, the church has a gymnasium, the church was pastored by these people." There were also a couple of typos: "intesifire".

This page still needs cleanup. Topherlux (talk) 14:55, 26 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Semi-protected edit request on 2 January 2021[edit]

This line under heading 'Pastors' - after John McMartin was charged with sexual assault against a 19yo female congregant. should be removed as this is an inaccurate description of the change in leadership at the Church. As per the media release from the Church these are alleged charges set against him to be determined in the courts https://www.eternitynews.com.au/australia/sydneys-inspire-church-pastor-faces-indecent-assault-charge/

Semi-protected edit request on 29 January 2021[edit]

It is requested semi-protected status on this page due to sexual assault allegations against the senior minister of the church are resulting in anonymous (non-logged-in) users attempting to revert journalistic coverage of the court case.

The heading 'iKonf' last line states that Hosted by Ps Steve Roberts this is no longer correct and can be deleted as Ps Steve Roberts is not longer hosting this event. Eternalfigaro (talk) 07:01, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Not done Eternalfigaro, state the wording change you want in an X to Y format, not just a change that should be made. Giraffer (talk·contribs) 12:44, 2 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
Not done: requests for increases to the page protection level should be made at Wikipedia:Requests for page protection. EN-Jungwon 10:36, 29 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Incorrect information[edit]

Information under the titles 'iKonf' and 'Intensifire' are inaccurate. The section for 'iKonf' lists Silvano Pagano as the host, and the section for 'Intensifire' lists Nathan Randall as the host. This information is incorrect and the names of these people have been used without their permission. Neither person hosts these events and they are no longer associated with the events in any way. Further, the references used for both people are inappropriate and have been used without their consent. This should be changed immediately as the people I have listed are being associated with an organisation that they are not part of.

@AP5456: Certainly, incorrect information can be corrected, and any information that is attributed to unreliable sources can (and should) be removed. However, you should be aware that if information is taken from a reliable source, written neutrally and not given undue weight, it is fair game. Wikipedia does not need the consent of the parties mentioned, or the sources cited, to use the information. --Drm310 🍁 (talk) 14:37, 14 January 2021 (UTC)[reply]
