Great, just post the pictues here to confirm. Cards84664 (talk) 01:27, 28 March 2016 (UTC)[reply]

According to Interstate-guide.com (linked from the main article), AASHTO is scheduled to review AHTD's request to extend I-555 to AR 91 on May 24. Except for AR 91 not being a U.S. route (though it partially follows the pre-bypass US 63) while US 49 is, IMO there's no real reason to deny it; that section is interstate-grade, the only reason it was left off the original Future I-555 designation was AHTD hadn't completed all the upgrades to that section back in 2000, and the farm-equipment issue that kept I-555 "future" for nine years after completion had nothing to do with that section. A lot of us here in Arkansas thought it had already been made part of Future I-555; but despite Google Maps including the stretch to AR 91, the current version of AHTD's official map of Jonesboro (archived copy) shows it ending at US 49 as originally designated. (Someone might want to find a freely-available picture of one of the unique "CAUTION - FARM EQUIPMENT - NEXT 4 MILES" signs marking the Congressional waiver zone; Interstate-guide.com got one by posting a KASU tweet.) --RBBrittain (talk) 22:39, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

For the record (pending proper verification), the waiver zone is from Exits 14 to 18, same as the AR 14 overlap. (The photo in the KASU tweet appears to be from Exit 18.) --RBBrittain (talk) 22:58, 20 May 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Interstate 57[edit]

If/when I-57 is extended to and past Walnut Ridge, would I-555 be extended to meet I-57? Xninetynine (talk) 23:58, 21 March 2019 (UTC)X99[reply]
