South of Heaven[edit]

I don't recall any part of the the Slayer song that sounds like the opening riff —Preceding unsigned comment added by The Indomitable Iron Slob (talkcontribs) 23:43, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Death Mask[edit]

I find it ironic that an add made on a page that cites no sources is deleted for citing no sources. Sources cited for Death Mask portion of Into the Void. Undo undone. Zycollier (talk) 15:41, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Resemblance of opening riff to "Brother, Can You Spare A Dime?"[edit]

The opening riff is more than a little reminiscent of the melody of the Depression-era song Brother, Can You Spare A Dime? - at least I've always thought so. I wonder if anyone else has noticed this, and if so, are there any references to support it? 90.205.92.44 (talk) 23:48, 27 January 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Subject of the song[edit]

The subject of the song should be added. Lyricist Geezer Butler stated in a 2019 interview, "I wrote Into The Void about pollution, the environment and what’s now called climate change … sadly that has not improved, either." (Saccone, Teri (2019-09-06). "'We were outsiders fans related to': Geezer Butler on Black Sabbath". Guitar.com. Retrieved 2020-06-12.) --Doovele (talk) 22:00, 12 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]

No it shouldn't. Wikipedia:WikiProject_Songs#Article_content: "Do not include original research such as opinions about a song, or interpretations of the lyrics or even statements about what the song is about". SolarFlashDiscussion 00:29, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
Why is it original research? It is not my personal interpretation. The lyricist said it. --Doovele (talk) 08:41, 13 June 2020 (UTC)[reply]
