"Misutero"[edit]

The section on what could be termed "unusual" champions includes: Misutero - An "invisible wrestler" i.e. non-existent, but no such name appears in the list of reigns. Was Misutero's title reign also non-existent....? -- ChrisTheDude (talk) 13:03, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Don't know where this Misutero name came from. The invisible man was called Arnold Skeskejanaker and he's listed in the title history. Fixed it. リボン・サルミネン (Ribbon Salminen)(ZOOM) 14:35, 25 November 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Note on reign numbers[edit]

Just as this article got its reign numbers, DDT has managed to screw up their own count. On March 26, 2017, they stated that Joey Ryan defeated Danshoku Dino to become the 1216th champion. However, when they began reporting on the title changes during the WrestleMania weekend, suddenly Brandi Rhodes is billed as the 1213th champion. Their numbers have been off ever since. This is just for future reference in case DDT doesn't fix their error and anyone begins wondering about the numbers. REEEEEbbon Salminen(talk) 08:41, 4 April 2017 (UTC)[reply]

It has been fixed since then. The DDT show reports on their official website, their translations on the unofficial English website and this unofficial list are all on the same page. The Cagematch title history contains some mistakes. -- MordecaiXLII (talk) —Preceding undated comment added 14:42, 30 November 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Note on Shoichi Ichimiya[edit]

Shoichi Ichimiya is neither Sanshiro Takagi nor Tarzan Goto. He's a impersonator who used puns in his ring names. All those reigns have been incorrectly combined in the combined reigns section. MordecaiXLII (talk) 13:03, 5 December 2019 (UTC)[reply]
