Ivory tower[edit]

The article refers to "A third person omniscient POV." This is college lit classroom talk and is not understood by the average reader, who has no idea that "POV" stands for "point of view." Wikipedia articles should not be written in jargon or cant of any kind. They are for general reference. Technical "in" terms like this should at least be explained. The real problems with that sentence were that it was not well written and that it, and some other material, amounted to original research--or at least unreferenced interpretation. I have edited the article to remove these sentences.--ShelfSkewed Talk 16:34, 7 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]
