Per MOS:BLOCKQUOTE, Format a long quote (more than about 40 words or a few hundred characters, or consisting of more than one paragraph, regardless of length) as a block quotation
Per instructions at {{bots}}, Avoid using the template as a blunt instrument
Bots will not change words in blockquote tags and templates
"I've had no problems with any other bot." Really? How many times have you yelled at other bot owners? Magioladitis' and you have been fighting since before 2010. How many times have you yelled at him to follow rules? I arrived 14 hours after you added the text. Of course, nobody else arrived. Other bot owners do the same exact thing, so you still will have problems.
"No, I think we'll keep it the way I wrote it." Per WP:OWNERSHIP An editor reverts a change simply because the editor finds it "unnecessary" without claiming that the change is detrimental.
"Please take responsibility for the errors made by YOUR bot." I am and the bot is behaving as it is supposed to.

My bot is not broken, along with all the other bots that do the exact same thing. Going against MOS, going against template instructions, going against how bots do not change things from 15th -> 15, and showing nobody else can edit anything you do. I'm following the rules. No other bot than your has done this. The use of blockquote is discretionary, not mandatory, and your bot should learn to deal with the real world of WIkiediting. Your propensity for blaming the victim has popped up numerous times. Please take responsibility for edits you make through your bot, and stop blaming others for problems which are yours. You are supposed to talk about the problem, all you do is ad hominem attacks. Stop your personal attacks.

Bot is running like it should, just like the other bots behave. No other bots have arrived on the page, so you cannot say only my bot does this. Other bots and my bot have been doing this for years. You just don't know about "other" bots.

The "real world" way is to use blockquote or {{not a typo}}. Blockquote is also the correct way to code it via HTML. The real world uses blockquote.

You've yet to refute MOS arguments and instructions on the bot page. MOS is not discretionary.

Our last encounter was over accessibility guidelines. Then you blamed my bot and me. Then you said MOS doesn't matter. You also called me a MOS Nazi.

No, my argument is that MOS is not mandatory, it is a simply a guideline, and you, as an admin, should know that and follow ArbCom's proscription against edit-warring to enforce MOS. The words in question are now enclosed between quotation marks (as I had neglected to do before) and your bot should not change the wording of a direct quote, no matter how it is delineated, with quote marks or by way of the use of bquote, cquote or any other template.

I think we're done here, unless you'd like to argue that your bot should be allowed to change the wording of a direct quote to bring it into line with Wikistyle. Beyond My Ken (talk)

Beyond My Ken MOS is a guideline to be followed unless there isn't a way around it. It is a generally accepted standard that editors should attempt to follow, though it is best treated with common sense, and occasional exceptions may apply. Note, it says attempt and common sense. Common sense because it brings it up to proper HTML and for ALL bots not to touch anything inside. Blockquote doesn't harm or change anything on presentation. I'm trying to do the proper thing and stop ALL bots from causing the problem. You've yet to say anything on how blockquote harms anything. You've yet to have any argument except I don't wanna. Per WP:OWNBEHAVIOR, An editor reverts a change simply because the editor finds it "unnecessary" without claiming that the change is detrimental. Stop your ownership. Stop your attacks.
