Shiism in Qatar[edit]

Strange, nothing about the Shia minority (8-10%) in Qatar, nor here nor in the article Religion in Qatar ? --Minorities observer (talk) 15:03, 5 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

I don't think it's too strange considering how Qatar is not known for Shi'ism and considering how this article is currently almost a stub - but it's definitely on my bucket list of things to add. I recently added the 'history' section to this article and I hope to soon add a section on all the different Islamic sects, how they are treated, and their role in society. If you want to help in the mean time, I think this web article has some good information: [1]. I'll try getting around to incorporating it soon, although I don't know how much of a help I'd be, as my knowledge of the Islamic sects are limited.
