Removal of some material about a Christian lobby[edit]
This edit [1] removing some material about a Christian lobby for Israel is a bit suspicious. Comments? Also, is Christians United for Israel really bigger than AIPAC? John Nagle (talk) 17:24, 17 July 2017 (UTC)
- Why is this not pertinent? There already is linked mention of the Greek lobby. And CUFI has 4 million members. Wouldn't this be larger than the membership number for AIPAC?Dogru144 (talk) 21:42, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

Mistaken quote[edit]
Hello, I was doing some research and I noticed a quote was wrong. This part: "Mearsheimer and Walt have collected and quoted some of the lobbyists' comments on their organizations' political capital. For example, Mearsheimer and Walt quote Morris Amitay, former AIPAC director as saying, "It's almost politically suicidal ... for a member of Congress who wants to seek reelection to take any stand that might be interpreted as anti-policy of the conservative Israeli government."" That was not stated by Amitay, and the citation in Mearsheimer & Walt's book refers to this first article here (by Berger; interestingly, they cite it as Nov 8 instead of Nov 7...): http://pdfs.jta.org/2002/2002_11_07.pdf Actually, that "politically suicidal" quote is from... former president Jimmy Carter! Apparently. According to: https://archive.is/3pY0E#selection-772.0-772.1 It seems to be legit. :) 97.104.181.98 (talk) 23:42, 12 March 2019 (UTC)
inconsistent NPOV language[edit]
why is the term "Palestinians' right of self-determination" used in one case and "Israel's very right to exist" in another ? it makes it sounds as though Israel's claim to statehood is more justifiable and opposing it more extreme than is the case with Palestine - along the lines of `they even reject Israel#s very right to exist" — Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.11.163.59 (talk) 12:14, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
- "very right to exist" is in a direct quote. nableezy - 15:25, 19 June 2022 (UTC)
