Djokovic's bogus serving speed records[edit]

Djokovic supposedly hit both the fastest ever 1st serve and 2nd serve during his Olympic match with Nadal. And the other day I got tricked by the "official" stats. But then I looked at Djokovic's talkpage and learned that it's never been corroborated by a reputable 3rd party. The radar gun was faulty, simple as that. So removed from the article and setting precedent for keeping it removed in the future. --Armchair info guy (talk) 03:33, 28 March 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Oh, please, enough with jealousy! The radar gun was faulty?! Yeah, sure...

Height[edit]

Karlovic is now 6'11" acording to the ATP. [1] — Preceding unsigned comment added by 200.86.235.249 (talk) 13:21, 19 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Unbreakable[edit]

I'm pretty sure he wasn't broken throughout the Bogotá tourney which he duly won. Please check it out — Preceding unsigned comment added by 109.60.44.196 (talk) 02:39, 7 July 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Images for the article[edit]

There are two great pictures of him that would be great in the article:

one where he holds the ace card https://www.atptour.com/en/news/karlovic-becomes-new-ace-king-2015

one where he holds 6 tennis balls after 10000 aces https://www.croatiaweek.com/ivo-karlovic-becomes-2nd-player-in-tennis-history-to-serve-10000-aces/ or
https://net.hr/sport/velicanstveni-ivo-ispisao-povijest-samo-dva-hrvata-su-to-uspjela-na-planeti/

Those images are probably copyright protected. Only free use images can be uploaded to Wikimedia Commons, which is needed first before the images can be used in Wikipedia articles. Gap9551 (talk) 10:42, 2 February 2019 (UTC)[reply]

Should Karlovic's Statistics be split into a career statistics page[edit]

The Wikipedia length guide for splitting an article at >60 kb probably should be divided and is getting close to the >100kb almost definitely. I feel like the statistics need to have their own page. Hiyouboots (talk) 15:27, 25 September 2021 (UTC)[reply]
