The following are some other renown indegenes of Iyara in Ijumu LGA of Kogi State:

1. Prof. Michael Sunday IKUPOLATI who is the DG and head of Mission at W. Africa Insurance Institute

2. Prof. Samuel Ale, former DG, National Mathematical Centre.

3. Prof. Dapo Folorunsho Asaju who is a professor of Christian Theology and doubles as the Vice Chancellor of the Bishop Ajayo Crowther University, Ago-Iwoye, Oyo State. He also is the Bishop Theologian, Anglican Church of Nigeria.

4. Venerable (Prof.) Jacob Adeleke Fayomi. He is a professor of ruminant nutrition at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria.
