Jackass Presents: Bad GrandpaBad Grandpa – Per WP:COMMONNAME. "Bad Grandpa" is clearly the more recognizable name by the public. "Jackass Presents" is added on as marketing device, but the title of the film is "Bad Grandpa" (as reaffirmed by popular sites like IMDB and Rotten Tomatoes. See The Butler, The Avengers (2012 film), Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., etc. for article titles with common names, removing marketing prefixes.   • Oppose - Actually per WP:COMMONNAME the name of the article should be Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa since that is the name the film is most referred to as in reliable sources. See recent news sources such as [1], [2], [3], [4], [5], [6], [7], [8]. In all those sources the film is referred to primarily as Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa, not just "Bad Grandpa". Also judging by this and this it is the film's official title. Everything else is WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, and we should not be changing the title of articles to fit unreliable sources such as IMDb, and review aggregators.     • "Bad Grandpa" is the title of the film. "Jackass Presents" is the way it is being marketed. One can find many reliable sources that present The Butler as Lee Daniels' The Butler or Agents of Shield as Marvel's Agents of Shield as well, but that argument is not enough to rebut WP:COMMONNAME. -- Wikipedical (talk) 20:19, 12 October 2013 (UTC)[reply]
I just found eight sources from October that refer to the film as "Jackass Presents: Bad Grandpa". As I already said see WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS. The Butler was not changed until very close to its release, and a RM was opened immediately upon its change by a COI account. The other two cases are fairly different too, but I do not need to go into detail because WP:OTHERSTUFFEXISTS, and it is already at its clear WP:COMMONNAME. Oppose moving. I did a Google news search for Bad Grandpa and found this still remains the common names. [9] [10] [11] [12] [13] [14] [15] [16] [17] [18] [19] [20] [21] [22] [23] [24] [25] [26] [27] [28] [29] [30] And that is just the tip of the iceberg. While you may be right that the "Jackass Presents" was added for a market gimmick, it's clear to me that it has caught on as the title of the movie.
