Tone and cleanup[edit]

Hey, I know it's not the usual Wikipedia dull entry, but this guy who put this in knows what's up. I say don't change it. Music reviews used to be really cool, you know, something the listener could read and relate to. Instead now we have this ULTRA-pretentious crap made by these ULTRA-nerdy English majors who for sure don't know how to dance or have fun in general. So we get these horrible phrases like "Smiths-esque" or "head-food album" or "teen pop that's as nourishing as an oil rag and rappers yelling like angry landlords over Mattel beats," god guys, it's music, you know, not a Shakespeare writing assignment. Here's what WAY more music reviews should be like - [1] anyway, I'm Nathan and I like this article just how it is. And NO I didn't originally write it, but props to who did.

This is an encyclopedia, not a press release for a record label or a flyer for a danceclub. Where do you expect ultra-nerdy English majors to write?
As it is now, the article seems to have been written by the artist or one of his friends, or some PR person for his label. It needs major NPOV work. Don't like the encyclopedic tone? Go read Rolling Stone instead of an encyclopedia. Kwertii 22:03, 24 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Good point Kwertii, I guess you're right. This is an encyclopedia. Nathan —Preceding unsigned comment added by 84.32.245.125 (talk) 22:58, 9 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]
