The current image in the infobox[edit]

Like this—This is right
Not like this—So wrong
even if it is a nice looking car

There are just two things wrong with the image in the info box. These cars were not available with wire wheels. There was no cut-out in the back-wheel cover. There is a cut-out in this case probably the only way to allow the fitting of wire wheels.

The image displayed in the infobox should be a completely standard car as supplied by the factory. Does anyone disagree?

It is quite interesting, Commons has few photos of cars in original shape and lots of cars with home improvements - even a "landaulette". Why should these things be displayed in the article? Eddaido (talk) 06:44, 8 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Restoration to correct shape project?
The pictures are quite unacceptable. There are really fine examples available.
The differences between UK, USA and Export models should be shown such as trafficators, LHD/RHD and PF770 headlights. No white sidewalls at all. No two-tone paint, even different wheel color. Must show painted ring on hubcaps and rimbellishers on wheels. Karl Petersen (talk) 00:54, 17 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
A bit late to join in, I know. I see that thanks to a very active uploader, the black German car has been classified as a quality image (it may be, I am no photography expert) which has led to it being used as the lede image in about a dozen languages. I went in and changed them all, thanks @Eddaido: for bringing my attention to this one. The Landaulet was still on a few pages, too...  Mr.choppers | ✎  03:28, 15 August 2018 (UTC)[reply]
