Two questions[edit]

Nice page, 14GTR! Questions: are you sure the "Central Technical School" was in London? – because the only one I can find is in Sheffield; and is the National Society of Painters, Sculptors & Gravers/Printmakers in fact the International Society of Sculptors, Painters and Gravers, active until 1925? – he'd have been old enough.   • According to my notes, both the reference to Grant studying at the 'Central Technical Sch, London' and the mention of the National Society of Painters, Sculptors & Gravers/Printmakers are from the Buckman dictionary. I don't have a copy to hand but will check it when I get the chance. Neither is mentioned in the other sources so I'll delete them for the time being.
