Delete?[edit]

Although there may indeed be room for improvement with this article, it seems that speedy deletion may not be the best option. All of the information included in this article about the actor in question was taken from primary sources (i.e. media reports and articles), including articles posted on the official website of the movie (Animal Kingdom) itself. It is agreeable that any material deemed "contentious" within this particular article should be deleted, although the fact that the article (in its entirety) has been tagged for speedy deletion as it apparently "appears to be about a real person, individual animal(s), an organization (band, club, company, etc.), or web content, [which] does not indicate how or why the subject is notable" seems unnecessary. According to the Australian press and crtiques of those within the industry overseas, James Frecheville (with whom this contributor has no direct connection whatsoever) is of a new and developing importance / interest within the Australian film industry. His contributions (as lead role) to the production and success of the Animal Kingdom film in particular have been repeatedly commented on and are well documented. Frecheville's work on Animal Kingdom was not his first experience as an actor working on a professional project, although Animal Kingdom did mark his debut in feature films. This fact alone (if not any of the others) can be considered noteworthy and should remain to acknowledge the involvment and contribution of this establishing actor.

WP:ENT states that the actor, comedian, opinion maker, model, and/or television personality:

  1. Has had significant roles in multiple notable films, television shows, stage performances, or other productions.
  2. Has a large fan base or a significant "cult" following.
  3. Has made unique, prolific or innovative contributions to a field of entertainment.

Of these, James Frecheville potentially fulfills the requirements of the first point in that he played a significant role in what is becoming one of Australia's more notable (and award-winning) films, as well as appearances in one of Australia's more noatble television series (City Homicide. While his contribution to the field of entertainment cannot be marked as entirely unique, prolific or innovative, his situation (whereby he was selected to play the lead-role in what is now a hugely successful Australian film) was and is still regarded as positive and unprecedented. Add Black 47 to 2018 in film Wikipedia Article[edit]
