A fact from James Light (director) appeared on Wikipedia's Main Page in the Did you know column on 19 February 2024 (check views). The text of the entry was as follows:
Did you know... that James Light was threatened by the Ku Klux Klan when he staged a play with an interracial couple?

Overall: Sourcing looks okay, and the hook aligns and is interesting. No serious copyvio concerns I can see, some of the New York Times obituary is picked up by the detector but it looks like just false positives for lengthy phrases. Length is sufficient, good work. Jtk10012 I notice you made several changes to the article but did not add citations. The original content was an accurate reflection of the cited sources. The content you added did not match the cited references; and in fact was contradicted by the sources in some cases. This is not ok per WP:Verifiability. When making any changes to a Wikipedia article you must cite where the information is coming from. Per WP:BURDEN I have reverted the article in order to remove the unverified changes. Additionally, if there are contradictions between sources then there needs to be some sort of editorial discussion here. Some of the claims you made are dubious; as more than one reliable source states Light succeeded Cook as director of the Provincetown Players.4meter4 (talk) 09:07, 12 February 2024 (UTC)[reply]
