James Love[edit]

Thank you, Perplextase. Via the Harvard source you kindly provided, I see this: "People who know me call me Jamie, rather than James or Jim." Also, the inline link to KEI in this recent NPR article quoting James Love refers to him as "Jamie". Where did he study for his undergraduate degree?[edit]

His two masters degrees are detailed in the article. There is no mention of his undergraduate studies. He couldn't have been admitted to graduate programs at Harvard and Princeton without an undergraduate degree. Also, it is puzzling that he is so involved in the law (through intellectual property) and economics (NBER, senior economist at Russell) without a law or economics background. Perhaps someone could provide information about his education and career prior to entering graduate school. That might help make his background less opaque. I think some of the information on the page comes from that Harvard link, which is probably fine for determining what people call him, but it is autobiographical.
