Pure Malice[edit]

This contention for deletion seems to have been repeatably deleted this article now has credible third person evidence of his notability from Newcastle United the official website documenting his existance and he is an olyroo as documented by a major news station. Dwanyewest (talk) 23:41, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

He has made apperances for Full Australian National Side now. Should be readded to the previous version with alot of info about the subject. Nufc2006 (talk) 23:44, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
No, the article was deleted after an AfD debate, which established that Troisi is not yet notable. Unless this situation has not changed, the article qualifies for speedy deletion under criterion G4. playerhistory.com suggests Troisi has made no senior appearances for the Australia team, so unless references can be provided, the article should be deleted. If he has made full international appearances for Australia, then I obviously have no problem with the article remaining as Troisi would then become notable. robwingfield «TC» 23:50, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Article in an Australian newspaper mentions him playing against Singapore today put that in your pipe and smoke it[1] Dwanyewest (talk) 23:53, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Fair enough. However, that should be added to the article to assert notability for Troisi. Also, please remain civil. robwingfield «TC» 23:56, 22 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

_______ Just a correction on the biography: both his parents were Greek-Australians, and his original name was not Troisi. Troisi is the name of his mother's second husband, who also happens to be a football agent amd adopted Jimmy a few years ago. I don't know how much it matters though. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 94.254.244.166 (talk) 17:59, 15 December 2008 (UTC)[reply]
