screen capture[edit]

I see there's an edit disagreement going on about the screenshot image of JWB. That image I captured for here ages ago (Gsorby, had edited it but I took the original) and I can confirm it is from the court case. In 1989. GunGagdinMoan 23:31, 2 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

The only reason I continue to revert these changes is because on the edit summary, it states it was from an 1992 episode. Soaper1234 - talk 07:15, 3 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Ok, well, it's definitely his trial, which aired in 1989. the background is him in a court. GunGagdinMoan 00:47, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]
Since you were the uploader, I'm pretty sure the information can be changed in the image description. Soaper1234 - talk 12:53, 4 November 2017 (UTC)[reply]

Name[edit]

Why is the character referred to by his last name throughout the text, when the usual practice is to use the first? Particularly when everyone else is being referred to by their first name? It's true most of the other characters in-universe used his last name to refer to him since he was a social outsider with no-one calling him James except maybe Kathy and the posh girl who left the square when her husband died, even before becoming the serial rapist, but it's jarring in an EastEnders article. Even murderers like Nick and Andy get their first names used. ZarhanFastfire (talk) 05:16, 22 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]

@ZarhanFastfire: The character is referenced as Willmott-Brown primarily in the series, making this his WP:COMMONNAME. His common name is used throughout in the article to reference him. Soaper1234 - talk 16:21, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Looking back at episodes, he was credited as Willmott-Brown. Grangehilllover (talk) 17:32, 23 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
Well that's a good reason.ZarhanFastfire (talk) 01:31, 24 February 2018 (UTC)[reply]
