At The Mind Robber page it says hines had chickenpox, here it says shingles. Which is it?

Could be both. Shingles and chicken pox are both caused by the varicella zoster virus. If the virus infects your nerves, you'll get shingles. I don't know exactly what symptoms Hines had, but this could be the source of the confusion. —Josiah Rowe 02:17, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
For what it's worth, Frazer Hines, on the DVD, says it was chickenpox, but the two are not unrelated. --khaosworks (talkcontribs) 02:24, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]
For the record, that unsigned comment was made by me, before I registered. Aah, youth! :)--Sean Jelly Baby? 20:38, 3 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Tegan as a point of comparison[edit]

Surely the Brig was a longer-serving co-star than Tegan, and much closer to Jamie in terms of total episode count. Wouldn't he be the better point of comparison to Jamie's long run? CzechOut 02:03, 17 May 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:HamishWilson.jpg[edit]

Image:HamishWilson.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

My question is why is there a picture of Hamish Wilson on this page who was a magically facially-altered Jamie for an episode or two of one story when the regular actor was ill, and not one of Frazer Hines who was Jamie for over 100 other episodes. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 216.95.145.145 (talk) 21:50, 27 October 2010 (UTC)[reply]

1746?[edit]

Could someone clear this up for me as it is ambiguously written in the article: was the year really 1746, and not the year the Battle of Culloden happened (1745)? 101090ABC (talk) 21:43, 19 May 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Culloden was 1746. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 217.18.20.253 (talk) 12:50, 15 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Inconsistency[edit]

"Sarah Jane Smith appeared in 85 episodes of Doctor Who (80 in her original 1973-1976 tenure, "The Five Doctors", and 4 episodes in the revived era)" 80 + 4 does not equal 85. Not sure where the mistake is but it should be fixed. Cillian flood (talk) 16:01, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Never mind. I just noticed it said The Five Doctors in between. The organisation of it confused me. Cillian flood (talk) 16:11, 22 October 2015 (UTC)[reply]
