"She has recently starred in her one woman, one audience member show at the Palace Theatre in Grimethorpe."

Thanks, because that's a lie. Her tours are frequently packed. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Newbunkle (talkcontribs) 22:30, 11 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Vandalism[edit]

I've had to remove more vandalism from this page. Some idiot keeps making false statements. Its not the school holidays again is it? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 172.203.70.16 (talk) 21:30, 14 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

RAF service?[edit]

In the run-up to Remembrance Day in November 2017, BBC had a series profiling women in the forces. One of the segments was on Jane McDonald, who said that she was an other ranks RAF photo interpreter posted in the Far East, possibly in Hong Kong. She said that she really became interested in theatrics and singing while performing in her station's amateur entertainment performances. Does anyone have citations for this service and it's effect on her entertainment career?--TGC55 (talk) 20:26, 11 May 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry, but it was Pam Ayres in the Women's RAF in the late 1960's. She was posted in Singapore. The BBC reran the series in November 2022, so I was able to review my recollection. TGC55 (talk) 15:18, 5 December 2023 (UTC)[reply]

Unsourced and unreliably content removed[edit]

I have gutted the article by removing lots of unsourced and unreliably sourced content. Such content is not acceptable, particularly in these large amounts, in the biography of a living person. Furthermore, much of the content I removed was rather promotional. Huon (talk) 22:10, 14 September 2018 (UTC)[reply]

Conflicts of Interest and Neutrality[edit]

Looking at the templates, I've seen that the article needs help by achieving neutrality. What can we do to solve this? 86.29.64.45 (talk) 22:18, 31 December 2018 (UTC)[reply]
