"Additionally, Romanization of Japanese is common for foreign loanwords and personal names."
1. I suppose this means that foreign loanwords can be written in Latin script. However, this is not "Romanization of Japanese". As the linked article explains, "Romanization of Japanese" means taking a Japanese word and rendering it in Latin script.
2. This reads as if it means "foreign loanwords and foreign personal names". From an edit comment, it seems that it may be intended to mean "foreign loanwords and Japanese personal names". If so, the wording needs clarifying.
3. I question how "common" this practice is. I would like a native Japanese speaker to comment on this if possible.
I have removed the sentence pending addressing of these points. Also, if there is to be any further discussion in the introduction of the use of the Latin alphabet, it probably should go alongside the existing mention in the last paragraph.
