Her timeline and birthdate[edit]

Today, someone changed her birth year from 1988 to 1990. Published sources give various ages and years, from 1985 to 1994[1] and even 1995. She makes contradictory statements to the media.

This source from 26 December 2013, reported that she was 28. Assuming her birthday of 4 September is correct, then she would have been born in 1985. I would trust this source the most for year of birth. Later sources demonstrate the common concern of ageing out of the entertainment field. Her reported age gets lower as the years progress.

Here are some milestones in her life, some with contradictory information taken from various sources:

Born in 1985, 1988, 1989,[2] 1990, 1991,[3] 1994, 1995.
Winning trophies at singing contests in India at age 10.
Moved to California at age 12, age 13, or the year 2001.[4]
Wrote the song "Adhi Rati" at age 16.
First demo at the age of 18.[5]
Handing out demos at age 20.
Started a MySpace page in 2007. (Member of MySpace since April 2006.[6])
"Building my fan base" since 2008.
In 2008 her website www.jasminesandlas.com said "Coming soon!"[7]
Released the album The Diamond in 2008.
Released the song "Muskan" online in 2008.
Released a video "Mang Ke" in 2011.
Released the album Gulabi in 2012.
Video for the song "Tere Vangu" in June 2013.
Honey Singh offered to collaborate in 2013.
Stayed in India for six months in the summer of 2013.
Released the song "End Karade" in 2014.
Moved to Mumbai in 2016.[8]

The year 1988 has possibility because of the timing of her move to California pinned to 2001, and the ages 12 and 13 associated with it. Several IPs from India have change the birth year to be 1988.
