Failed "good article" nomination[edit]

This article failed good article nomination. This is how the article, as of February 22, 2007, compares against the six good article criteria:

1. Well written?: Not terribly written, just a little choppy at times was what I noticed.
2. Factually accurate?: There are several places where citations are needed, I will add fact tags after I finish this review and post it. Indeed, two short paragraphs on high school and another short blurb on college are not nearly enough for a projected first round draft pick.
3. Broad in coverage?: The college section is way too short, as the whole article is for GA. Indeed expansion is needed.
4. Neutral point of view?: Talk of the NBA. Has there been any talk of his age or leaving college early etc etc. Not specifically POV stuff but that issue can lead to criticism of a player.
5. Article stability? A few minor incidents of vandalism from anons, looked like it was reverted pretty quickly. Not a major issue.
6. Images?: Could benefit from some action images, as opposed to the just the head shot.

When these issues are addressed, the article can be resubmitted for consideration. Thanks for your work so far.

Thoroughness is the major issue here.

Yeah I'm not really sure why it was submitted it's a solid start but not nearly a Good Article as of yet. Basically his career is still in the embryonic stage, so there isn't much to report yet. Quadzilla99 04:51, 23 February 2007 (UTC)[reply]
