Does that look about right to everybody? jengod (talk) 23:23, 23 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

2008 - 2009 - Age 30/31 - his 8 months old son Abel is kidnapped, then rescued within 15-20 days; after the events in Belfast, Jax is arrested
2010-2011 - Age 32/33 - Jax gets out of prison, after serving for 14 months.

It is arguable that season 4 and 5 events take place during late 2010, and early 2011. This way, Jax's last arrest should be placed during 2011, instead of 2012, as now shown in his biografy.

I added these speculation in addition to those posted by Jengod (which sound reasonably accurate), because placing last Jax's arrest in 2012 sounds unaccurate to me: SoA seasons do not follow the standard "one year per season" model. In fact, it is set in the same year (2008) all the way long from season 1 to season 3 (when Abel is 8 months old). Season 3 may take place during early 2009, but that's how far we can push it.

Off topic[edit]

This article frequently goes on into information that has nothing to do with Jax's personal story arc. It could use some cleanup to remove the non-character information and focus a little more tightly on its subject. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 63.245.220.224 (talk) 19:38, 17 November 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Origin of Jax - Winterhalder?[edit]

Kurt Sutter himself denies that the character of Jax is based on Winterhalder's experiences or writing in his FAQ about SOA:

I presume there's a good justification for the alleged link being mentioned in this article? If not, it should be removed IMHO. 82.41.16.41 (talk) 10:37, 14 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

New photo[edit]

One that is updated with his new look? The current photo is from like the 1st season. Any opposed to changing it? Lady Lotustalk 19:29, 5 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Spoilers?[edit]

Why are there spoilers written on character pages? Thank god I saw the show before reading some of the articles here, but some people like to read while watching the show. Not very informative and not smart by the writers on this site. TK(film) (talk) 11:53, 25 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Trimming down the biography[edit]

The biography is far too long as it is (it's been tagged with the {plot} template since Nov. 2018). As it stands, the summary is basically a blow-by-blow of every significant thing to happen to Jax over all seven seasons, essentially a summary of every single episode.

I've trimmed it down to just the very high points (who he is to start with, his two marriages and two children, his club offices) and his character arc (redeeming the club, getting revenge for his father, saving his children). I think the bio could well be longer than it is, but I think we'd be much better off taking a short summary and making it longer than trying to pare down that huge summary to something useful.

If people need it, the fan wiki is a great place to get details on every single episode... ;-) — Narsil (talk) 23:00, 13 August 2019 (UTC)[reply]
