  • That blog link doesn't have much information at all. It seems to have formerly linked to a video clip taped on the Fox station Jean works for. So not very independent. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • No longer accessible. Were you really able to retrieve it? Archive.org doesn't have it either. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Items are created and modified by Likexo users. (from here) Also, she is listed as playing the role of "The Media". I'm not going to debate if she did or didn't play a role in that movie, but many people have played minor roles in movies and are not notable enough to have a Wikipedia article. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not in-depth coverage. Basically just says they exist and they do X. Also from a blog, which may or may not fit our policies on sourcing to blogs, I didn't care enough to check out the author's creds. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Again, doesn't have enough in-depth coverage to warrant an article. I've helped raise money for charities too and I don't have a Wikipedia article on myself yet. :-) Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Nominated for an Emmy is sort of a big thing. But per WP:ANYBIO, they have to have won it or been nominated several times. The links presented here just say she was nominated twice and I don't see that she's won any. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

  • Only proves that this person exists and does X. Not in-depth enough to pass our sourcing standards. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • Not in-depth. Basically shows they exist and presented an award. Do all award shows' presenters have articles? :-) Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • One quote given from the subject herself about another topic cannot feasibly be used to source an article. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
  • How can we use this to source an article, other than the person exists and presented an award? Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
One more international piece of coverage (before I retire for the night):
  • Notability is not inherited. Just because she gave an award somewhere exclusive doesn't mean she's notable as far as Wikipedia's standards. This just mentions her name once, not in-depth enough to warrant an article. Killiondude (talk) 06:11, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I think we should keep discussion on the appropriate AFD page. Killiondude (talk) 07:01, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please see thisDIFF. Killiondude overstruck all my work here and is upset by my using quotation markup to emphasize his points that confirm WP:ANYBIO? In his quoted material, he has mentioned that she has been emmy nominated several times which qualifies for notability under ANYBIO. --Morenooso (talk) 07:06, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
As for keeping it on the AfD, any great reviewer will know to review this talkpage. --Morenooso (talk) 07:06, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
I never said she was nominated several times. I've said in at least three (3) places that she was nominated twice. I even posted above that twice ≠ several, which falls just short of ANYBIO's wording. Killiondude (talk) 07:12, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]
Nominated twice equals nominated for (a notable award) several times. --Morenooso (talk) 07:14, 7 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Response to third opinion request (Disagreement on notability of Jean Martirez):
I am responding to a third opinion request for this page. I have made no previous edits on Jean Martirez and have no known association with the editors involved in this discussion. The third opinion process is informal and I have no special powers or authority apart from being a fresh pair of eyes.

Hello folks. My opinion on this is that while she appears to be a relatively minor celebrity, she has been nominated for an emmy twice and appears as a regular host of a television show. It seems that the objections of Killiondude seem to revolve around the fact that the sources offered are relatively lightweight. I'd suggest that this is probably the nature of the beast with this sort of celebrity. On balance, I'd say that she's sufficiently notable to warrant an article although it is a close call. I'll also note that not meeting WP:ANYBIO does not automatically mean that the subject is not notable.

That's my opinion, hope it helps.
