Edits[edit]

I removed the list of tracks from the second concept recording and also mention of the soft jazz recording. The article for a show should only have recordings that are of vocal music, ya know? If we listed every jazz recording of West Side Story, we'd go insane. And one song list is enough. If anyone wants to create album pages for either of those recordings, I say go nuts. The song list is from ibdb. I also cut much of the POV about Hasselhof. He sucks, but come on....
However, this article would definitely benefit from a History section. Something detailing its long and twisted road to Broadway. —  MusicMaker 04:38, 5 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:JekyllHydeCDCover.jpg[edit]

Image:JekyllHydeCDCover.jpg is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This section has gotten much too long and it didn't look likely to get better any time soon. People keep adding entries, until at this point way more than half of them are red linked. The MOS on Music says "Lists should not generally include musicians who do not have an article." For these reasons, I've gone through and removed all the entries which do not have a corresponding article. Although this is probably not the ideal solution, it is the easiest to implement without subjectivity. The MOS's guideline does not similarly imply that any musician with an article should be included, and at a later date the list should probably be pared further. For example, some attention should be paid to the notability of the performances—judging by notability of individual actors gives bias toward recent tours and international productions that probably don't really need to be included.

I would welcome others' assistance in paring down this section, and I am sure others will agree that this 89-person list was in need of paring down. Princess Lirin (talk) 04:44, 28 August 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Obvoius basical errors[edit]

The descreption of the 1987 demo album is obviously partly wrong: according to frankwildhorn.com - the composer's own official website -, the 1990 concept album does (also) contain songs (maybe in varied versions) which here are mentioned as demo album only: "Possessed, I Must Go On", "He Has His Work And Nothing More", "It's Over Now" and "We Still Have Time".

Besides, It would be interesting to learn if "He Has His Work And Nothing More" is a previous version of "His Work, And Nothing More" - and if so, how much it had been altered.

Red Rat Brothel[edit]

This doesn't appear to be in Stevenson's novella - any sources for its origin? Shtove (talk) 12:24, 8 February 2022 (UTC)[reply]
