Untitled[edit]

How can someone be "half German/Irish and half Cherokee Native American"? That's three ethnicities (and 1.5 people). More appropriately, she was most likely 1/4 German, 1/4 Irish, and 1/2 Native American. Although, I have my doubts about anyone who claims that much Native American ancestry, given that even the Native Americans living on reservations are often of that small percentage.

Jerry Butler's paternal grandfather, Sam Siederman, can't be the half-brother of Leon Trotsky. Because Leon Trotsky hadn't half-siblings. -- Worobiew (talk) 11:46, 26 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Any way to prevent a recurring errant good faith edit?[edit]

This note about Jerry Butler working as an usher at an X-rated theater keeps coming back like a bad check. The problem is that (at least in some cases anyway), it's probably a good faith edit. There's various references to it around the Internet although none of them are even remotely close to a quoteable source. I don't know how to solve this...does Wikipedia have a way to deal with this other than ongoing removal of the errant edit? --PoughkeepsieNative (talk) 09:48, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

(actor)/(pornographic actor) RfC[edit]

An RfC which may affect this article's title is currently taking place (Wikipedia talk:WikiProject Pornography#RfC: Should a person who has appeared in exclusively pornographic films be described as "(actor/-tress)" or "(pornographic actor/-tress)"?).
