I was in Jesse's D&D crowd during Middle and High School. We lost touch a long time ago, he did not appreciate my drunken lifestyle in the late 90s, and I don't think I've spoken to him since. I sobered up in 2001, came out to myself and my therapist in 2002, and started gender transition finally last year at the age of 49. God did indeed puke in my tomato juice, and just as I put it to my lips, no less. It's a hell of a story, and I only knew half of the back story back in the 90s. I can now touch all the wounds without hating myself, so I'm writing it down, and I need an editor who I can trust and who won't candy coat criticism. If you see this, Jesse, please reach out. I've finally stopped deleting everything I write, and someone is going to help me craft it into a book. If you're not interested in helping, that's fine; I'd still love to hear from you.
