Stop Vandalism[edit]

Hello User:Solarson, Your recent reverting is an act of Vandalism because you are altering/removing and editing source content in bad faith. The government authorised source clearly mentions King Vir Vikram Dev of the Solar dynasty (Suryavansh) shifted his capital to Jeypore in 17th century. No where does it say that it was a “small Khanda kingdom”, which can considered a bad faith edit and act of vandalism to the history. If you think your claims are correct then please provide a reliable source supporting your claim. However, I’ve reported you to an administrator User:Utcursh, and I hope that you understand the outcomes of frequent vandalism. Your account may get blocked from using Wikipedia in future. Same applies to User:Sangramz. Regards.Odiahistory (talk) 05:40, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Where does your source say jeypore was the largest "kingdom" of Kalinga ? It was a zamindari of 119km² Your edits are deeply biased Solarson919 (talk) 06:03, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Those are not my edits. Check history. As per numerous sources, it was a kingdom before the advent of the British and quite possibly the largest in Kalinga - (12,000 square miles ~ 31000 km2)until 1947. [1] page 63

So get your facts right and stop vandalising articles. Odiahistory (talk) 06:29, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

I haven't made that edits, but simply quoted what is written in your source anyways. Jeypore was not a kingdom but a zamindari state. It was not even counted as princely state. You can mention it to be possible large zamindari estate among others classified by Britishers.

I feel that you are just propagatimg some kind of "Jeypore Supremacy". The regionalism has no place in wikipedia. Sangramz (talk) 15:03, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Haaa !! Now you call it large zamindari, in your review and edit you referred to it as a small zamindari. You know it’s hard to lie here on Wikipedia. And you can’t accuse me of propagating supremacy, I only write what the source says. I’m saying over and over again that in Jeypore page, I did not add any thing new, I only reverted yours and Solarson919’s disruptive “small Khand kingdom” claims.

FYI It’s not me who found out that it was a princely state, it was some other user and he is using valid sources and to be fair he is definitely more experienced than you. And seeing your edits even you can be accused of regionalism. Odiahistory (talk) 16:12, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Please check List of princely states of British India (alphabetical), the name of Jeypore State has been there since the beginning. I went on to the page to check who added the name but could not find it. Even I thought it was a zamindari but many sources state otherwise. As far as I know many zamindaris got their status promoted by the British government but I am not sure. If you have any personal issue with Jeypore then I can’t help. Keep on with your editing, removing and vandalising, I don’t even care anymore. I have other work to do. Happy editing. Odiahistory (talk) 16:17, 17 June 2021 (UTC)[reply]
