Våler IL[edit]

I don't know if such a club exists. In Våler, Hedmark the club is called Vaaler IF. In Våler, Østfold there is an active sports club called Vansjø/Svinndal IL. "Våler IL" comes up in Google, but as an erroneous reference to both these clubs. A club named "Våler IL" might have existed formerly, though. Geschichte (talk) 09:16, 8 April 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I have no further information on the club. It is probably the same club as Vaaler IF, which has a web profile (but without a history section). The cited source says Våler IL, but it could just be a careless interchange of IF and IL, which practically means the same anyway, English: sports association or English: sports club. Other explanations are also possible (name change, merge, etc). If an article on the club should be created, the name of the article should obviously be "Vaaler IF".
