This seems ultimately false: "Nickname: Jods Jodels JG". Should it be deleted?

Biker incident, re: cocaine[edit]

Media reports have stated she confessed that "cocaine was consumed". Now there were two of them present that day, her mistaken belief that armed home invaders were approaching was said to be due to hallucination - hallucinating due to what? The current version I've edited is an accurate cite of the media reports at the time, it doesn't refer to her consuming cocaine but refers to her alledged disclosure.

Consider also that she hasn't publicly denied to have made this disclosure, nor to have used cocaine (the obvious inference).

No, I am not interested in protecting Jodi Gordon's image. I don't care about Jodi Gordon. I am interested in protecting Wikipedia. Please try to see the difference, and if anyone wants to write about Jodi's recent incident please read our policy Biographies of Living People before doing so. It is very clear in giving instructions about how to deal with biographies about living people and it is not written to protect the subject of the article. It is written to protect Wikipedia. Please also consider this remark "Consider also that she hasn't publicly denied to have made this disclosure, nor to have used cocaine (the obvious inference)." - when it comes to biographies about living people we are to deal only in the black and white facts as reported by reliable sources. We are not, as editors, to say "hmmm Jodi hasn't denied it, therefore it must be true and we'll report it". This is completely wrong. Stick to the facts, and don't try to consider what may have happened, even if you believe it to be an obvious assumption. "Accurate media sourced information is permitted" - yes, as long as it complies with our policies as stated. What I removed did not comply, because it suggested something that was not contained in the article cited, and your opinion that it is a logical conclusion or a small difference, is not relevant. If it doesn't comply, editors are not only welcome to remove it, they are obliged to. The rewording now better fits the media reports. WP:UNDUE may one day determine how relevant it is; it's relevant now, but may not be in a year or so, so it's supposed factuality is no guarantee that it will stay in the article, in its current form, beyond the natural life of the incident. This is how Wikipedia works. And again, I don't care about Jodi Gordon or her image. Rossrs (talk) 09:45, 21 June 2009 (UTC)[reply]

Jodi Gordon → Jodi Anasta – WP:COMMONNAME is now Jodi Anasta, as the name used exclusively in Neighbours opening titles and promotional materials and most media reports (eg.
