Son of Gary Lupul?[edit]

Is Joffrey the son of former NHLer Gary Lupul? Sharing an uncommon last name says yes, but I fail to see any source confirming it. If so, would be nice to include in the article. Kaiser matias 07:46, 20 July 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Ukrainian/Romanian[edit]

Two editors are edit warring over what ethnicity Lupol is. One editor says he's Ukrainian and provides a reference. The other says he's Romanian and provides a reference. Seeing how it's of very little importance to the article, until one can be determined on the talk page. It will be removed. UrbanNerd (talk) 03:25, 31 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

The Romanian source only says that he has a Romanian sounding surname, if you translate it, not that he has any actual verified Romanian heritage. This is something that mostly IP users (who are Romanian?) keep pushing, because 'lupul' means Wolf in Romanian, or something. Also, you blanking makes you the 3rd wheel in this escalating war. This has been settled now and the article has been sourced with direct quote from Lupul concerning his background: he's Ukrainian, let this be the end of this edit war.--Львівське (говорити) 01:07, 14 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Position[edit]

I'm pretty sure he moved back to the right wing for the 2015 season after Kessel was traded. Could someone with more familiarity please confirm and make the appropriate adjustments? Thanks James Duggan 02:55, 18 September 2016 (UTC)[reply]
