Untitled[edit]

Shouldn't this be at John Ramsey? Otherwise, Patsy Ramsey should be moved to Patsy Paugh Ramsey. I mean, the media generally refer to him as John Ramsey, with the Bennett part only coming up as explanation for JonBenet's name. BobbyLee 14:50, 14 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Parents[edit]

The article states: "Ramsey was born in Okemos, Michigan to Mary Jane Bennett his first wife and James Dudley "Jay" Ramsey." Obviously the author of this statement wasn't sure whether was confused about whether he was referring to John Bennet Ramsey or his daughter, JonBenet. A person isn't normally born to his wife. Could someone clear this up? JBFrenchhorn (talk) 08:25, 1 February 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The Ramsey's Were Not Cleared....Should A New Section Be Created For This Controversy?[edit]

Back in 2008, DA Mary Lacey, a friend of the Ramseys, exonerated the Ramseys right before she left office and has refused interviews regarding her controversial decision. Lacey cites "new DNA" evidence. The problem is that this new DNA evidence is not new at all and possibly is just an artifact, or meaningless DNA that was possibly attributed to the manafacturer of the panties via a cough or sneeze. All in all there was like 6 or 7 artifact DNA samples retrieved in the case. So even though former DA Mary Lacey did this huge favor for her buddies the Ramseys, the Boulder Police and the new DA Stan Garnett have not cleared them. Do we need a new section to address the controversy surrounding this issue? If so then included should be on why the media never researched DA Mary Lacey's claims and just took her word for gold. Even the most basic of inquiries would uncover that this DNA was not new at all and definitely is nowhere near strong in nature.BoyintheMachine (talk) 05:35, 5 October 2012 (UTC)[reply]
