Schooling[edit]
Just some thoughts for future researchers. The "Grammar School in Sherborne" would be Foster's School, though this apparently wans't founded until 1640; Falconer would have been 11 in 1588. However Sherborne School had been refounded in 1550 as a free grammar school long before it evolved into it's current day staus as a Public School. I suspect therefore that Falconer attended the latter, though he is not listed on their page as an Old Shirburnian.
