John Kennedy Sr. → John Kennedy Sr. (Australian footballer) – matches John Kennedy Jr. (Australian footballer) -- there are multiple SRs who are John Kennedys, including POTUS JFK35 (especially in the context of his son), so this current title should point to John Kennedy (disambiguation) for all the various persons Senior. -- 65.94.171.217 (talk) 01:28, 28 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Support there's definitely a need to disambiguate this due to the amount of people who could be referred to as John Kennedy Sr, however I would be more inclined to have the dab as just footballer for the reasons outlined in the discussion section. Discussion[edit]

As stated in my support vote, I am more inclined to have the proposed move with the dab as just footballer (i.e. John Kennedy Sr. (footballer)) because as far as I can see there aren't any other John Kennedy Sr's who play any form of football, which also meets the disambiguate method at Wikipedia:WikiProject Australian rules football/Players#Article naming. He is also a very prominent coach in the sport with high importance in WP:AFL so I would be cautious of being too precise. Flickerd (talk) 10:29, 30 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
