Siblings[edit]

In his memoir, LaFarge writes that before he was born his mother had already borne 9 children, of which one was stillborn and one (Raymond) died in infancy. This makes LaFarge the 9th live-born child, but I can only find the names of 7 of his 8 live-born siblings. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 71.108.32.244 (talk) 21:31, 27 January 2015 (UTC)[reply]

LaFarge, La Farge[edit]

Father John LaFarge's last name is spelled both ways in the popular press, and his father used the open style. However, on his book The Manner Is Ordinary, the closed-up version appears on the title page and book jacket, a clear signal of his own preference.Valli Nagy 18:27, 5 June 2016 (UTC)
