Came to find information on a business colleague. Found, alarmingly, that the sources that were cited did not support the sentences to which they were attached, and then, on following up at an editor's User page, that near to the complete business jargon-y Career section had been written, without proper sourcing, by an editor in the admitted employ of Sybase, one of John's important former companies.

No criticism is intended of the title subject, nor do I have any interest in promoting or diminishing his record. The article was simply a complete WP:OR, WP:VERIFY, and WP:COI shambles. I have done what I can today, to (i) add sources, (ii) complete citations and check them, and revise content to those citations, saying no more and no less than those sources, and (iii) marking the remaining text—its factual, non-common knowledge information, on this BLP subject—that remains in violation of WP:VERIFY.

Please do remove tags, but only after providing a source for the facts, the extraordinarily many facts, that currently appear as "just trust us" WP blogging, rather than as encyclopedic writing.
