Daughter Anne[edit]

"Lady Anne Talbot (c. 1445 - 17 May 1494). Married firstly Sir Henry Vernon and secondly Ralph Shirley."

I think this must be the wrong way round. Vernon lived until 1515 and directed that Ane's remains be disinterred and reburied alongside him at St Bartholomew's Church, Tong. See his will at Auden's Documents Relating to Tong College. Sjwells53 (talk) 14:02, 18 July 2018 (UTC)[reply]

How can a person be knighted alongside the King who is knighting?[edit]

As of the date and time I'm typing this, this article has the text "He was knighted in 1426 at Leicester alongside King Henry VI". But Henry VI already WAS King Henry VI in 1426, ruling out the possibility that the person "alongside" the article's subject became King later on. If this is a knighthood conferred on both of them by the Monarch of some other country, please spell that out in the article instead of leaving it confusing.2600:1700:6759:B000:1C64:8308:33BC:E2D6 (talk) 08:30, 10 December 2023 (UTC)Christopher Lawrence Simpson[reply]
