Faboulous or not?[edit]

A rather sweeping generalisation to say that John of Fordoun's first three books are fantasy. (See- The Identity of the Scottish Nation, an historic quest. William Ferguson, Edinburgh University Press 1998)

I changed the noted sentence, hopefully to a more agreeable state. Colemic (talk) 21:17, 25 April 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Secular priest?[edit]

The current text links to secular and priest, but neither of these articles individually explain what a "secular priest" might be, and there is no way to reconcile the two. I'm taking out the wiki links as worthless, but I'm hoping somebody can clarify what it means.

I'm guessing that this refers to the fact that all academia of the time was religious, and therefore any graduate would have been refered to as a "priest" even if not a practicing sacerdote.... Prof Wrong (talk) 10:55, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Ah.. no... I've found the term under secular clergy.... Prof Wrong (talk) 10:57, 12 May 2013 (UTC)[reply]
