Citizenship of Jonathan David[edit]

Jonathan David holds a French passeport as well as Haitain citizenship through his parents according to TransferMarkt and so is eligible to play for the US, Haiti and France in addition of Canada 2A04:CEC0:112E:338E:34FA:64A8:ADD:E421 (talk) 12:49, 24 November 2021 (UTC)[reply]

Generally when you have multi-ethnic and multi-national players, it is best to refer to them as "a professional footballer who plays as a forward." You would then add a second paragraph noting the various ethnic backgrounds and international representation. This way you avoid ridiculous hyphenation scenarios such as the one in the previous edit.
