material copied[edit]

As stated in the summary of the first edition the text is copied from "https://wikispooks.com/wiki/Jonathan_Moyle", material issued under creative commons.

The CorenSearchBot has performed a web search with the contents of this page, and it appears to include material copied directly from: http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/americas/60769.stm

Most of the complained text are the opinions of the family of Jonathan Moyle, and that is correct. Such opinions should not be changed but copied as true as possible. --Keysanger 18:34, 21 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]

I removed the text, Wikispooks' license doesn't supersede where the information originally came from, BBC. The text can be rewritten in original thought and quotes used where necessary.--NortyNort (Holla) 08:55, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I rewrited the old (long) version and deleted/changed only the passages that are a copy from the BBC page. The result is:

I think that is a good deal. No one can accuse us to violate the copyright for sentences like "editor of the magazine defence helicopter", "journalist's death unlawful", etc. --Keysanger 16:02, 22 May 2011 (UTC)[reply]
I agree some terms are unavoidable. I just checked the detector and it shows much larger matches, the largest being: "the chilean authorities at first dismissed the death of the former raf helicopter pilot as suicide but in december 1991 following pressure from the moyle family a chilean judicial investigation concluded he had been murdered". I will temporarily restore the previous version until it can be repaired. I am not sure what version you were looking at.
